South Karelia is investing in the circular economy through state-of-the-art technology. The new technology developed by LUT and Kompotek Oy enables the utilization of waste fractions that are usually difficult to recycle and manufacture new products from. Industrial waste is utilized in road construction thanks to methods developed by Ramboll.
In the future, these innovations will be utilized in Finland and across the globe.
